Under the project 408 homeless families of Naldanga upazila, 400 families of Natore Sadar upazila, 293 families of Singra upazila, 157 families of Boraigram upazila, 130 families of Gurudaspur upazila and 100 families of Bagatipara upazila have been rehabilitated, officials said. A person having one to ten decimal lands but no home, poor families living in dilapidated house, poor freedom fighters, widows, abandoned women, physically challenged persons, baggers and age old people were rehabilitated in the project, reports BSS. Zamila nd her son have got a home in the Ashrayan Project. Deputy Commissioner of Natore Md Shahriaz said total number of homeless families is around 14,700.
