According to GNN-Liberia investigation, 1,600 pieces of thermometers and 13 pieces of computer laptops were reportedly sneaked from the warehouse of the Ministry by some unknown persons with the help some employees and sold to an Indian businessman whose location is said to be on Jamaica Road, Bushrod Island. According to the investigation, the items in question have already been sold out by the Indian businessman, a situation, according to GNN-Liberia investigation compelled the Liberia National Police to swiftly carryout a probe into this alleged missing of the health equipment from the Ministry, up to date, according to our source no arrest have been made. During GNN-Liberia investigative tour of the resident of the Indian businessman only identified as Barak Baximi on Jamaica Road to ascertain his link to the alleged purchasing of stolen equipment from the Ministry of Health, in a rather scaring state, denied the allegation, and further told GNN-Liberia staff of his innocence.
