Between September 10 and 25, GHMC Commissioner M. Dana Kishore, who is also the District Election Officer, received close to 1.78 lakh claims and objections, of which almost 1.35 lakh were forms for enrolment. The total number of applications stood at 1,77,983, of which 1,34,535 were received through Form-6 pertaining to enrolments. Almost 37% of the total applications were submitted on the last day. Verification deadlineDoor-to-door verification will be done for all the claims received, before the changes are incorporated in the voters’ list, Mr. Dana Kishore informed.
