A statement issued by the CAA said, the flights included two ferrying 320 Egyptians to Sohag, one with 305 Egyptians heading to Cairo, two carrying 290 Egyptians to Assiut and one carrying 145 Egyptians to Alexandria. The flights were organized by Kuwait Airways, Air Cairo, Air Arabia Egypt, Kuwait Jazeera Airways and FlyEgypt. On Tuesday 785 Egyptians stuck in limbo due to the coronavirus pandemic left Kuwait to Cairo and Sohag on board 5 flights. Since international aviation has been suspended on March 19, more than 30,000 Egyptians have been brought home on exceptional flights. Procedures shall also include sterilizing all planes before and after each flight and making sure all passengers wear facemasks inside the plane.
