The daily cases crossed 1,000 in Hassan on Wednesday. With 1,031 fresh cases of COVID-19, the total number of infected people in the district rose to 31,890. Hassan taluk has contributed the highest number of fresh cases – 367. Of the dead, four are from Hassan taluk, one each from Alur, Arsikere and Channarayapatna taluks and three are from other districts. The number of patients from other districts admitting to hospitals in Hassan has been on the rise.
