Only about 40 per cent of adult Canadians use Twitter, and fewer than half of those use it daily. The minority that does use it, though, and especially the segment that uses it frequently, would miss it. Probably because we’re among the most addicted users, but also because, for all we complain about Twitter, it is a fantastic tool for our work. But is some of what Twitter does valuable, in a literal sense, to me and my work? If Twitter dies, maybe some of the functionality it offers moves somewhere else, back to Facebook or Instagram, to TikTok, and even onto Mastodon, the new Twitter rival.
