Carrie Lam promised Hong Kong's “confused'' and “helpless” youth the government will consider how to create an environment that enables them to grow healthily, build a stable home, pursue a good career and unleash their full potential. “We also hope that our young people can set their sights on our country, seizing the opportunities to study, work and live in the Greater Bay Area, to broaden the scope for realizing their dreams.'' Lam said some youth feel confused and helpless about their future and the way society is developing.
