KUALA LUMPUR: Yap Sou Kuen has quit the national netball team after serving for 15 years as an athlete. Sou Kuen, a sports officer with the National Sports Council (NSC), said she quit the sport due to age factor. “I think the youngsters have quality and I believe our national team are in good hands,” she said. Sou Kuen, who captained the national team in 2015, however, hopes to turn to coaching and umpiring in the near future. "I will take up my coaching and umpiring badges soon,” Sou Kuen added.
