DeKalb County, Georgia, a large Democratic stronghold just outside Atlanta, finished counting its last absentee ballots just after midnight Thursday, CNN reports. Fulton County, Georgia’s most populated county, meanwhile is still counting votes. Joe Biden leads the race for the presidency with 253 electoral votes. President Trump has 213 electoral votes. The candidates each need 270 electoral votes to win the presidency.
