Temperatures across the Highlands fell well below freezing again overnight - with the mercury bottoming out at -18C close to the A9 in the Cairngorms National Park. It followed a low of -16C near Carrbridge that was recorded overnight Friday into Saturday. The frigid temperatures came as the Met Office issued another yellow warning for snow and ice .
