Revenue officers have seized around 650g of heroin in Dublin Airport. The seizure happened last Friday, October 11, and the illegal drugs were found in a package on arrival into the airport from South Africa. Revenue said the drugs were concealed in a package described as ‘sample pulley wheels’ and were destined for an address in North Dublin. They said they have an estimated street value of €70,000. Revenue stated that investigations are ongoing.
