Sirisia MP John Waluke’s daughter-in-law is a troubled woman after the lawmaker allegedly sent his bodyguards to beat her up. Speaking to a local newspaper, Barasa said Waluke’s bodyguards flogged her over the weekend. Barasa, who was discharged on Tuesday, alleged that the MP beat up his son Nelson Waluke before the guards were unleashed on her. The Star reports that Barasa was with her husband when they met the MP in Bungoma town on Saturday. “My parents-in-law have always been against our marriage despite their son saying he has a strong bond with me and the child,” Barasa said.
