Mohammad Al Hasib Khan's “Breathing is a Gift” wins the Hiralal Sen Memorial Award for the Best Bangladeshi Film in Global Youth Film Festival 2023. The 6th Global Youth Film Festival was held this year in the coastal area of Cox's Bazar. 102 countries worldwide participated in this festival with 1475 films but only 32 out of those were showcased. On the evening of the closing ceremony, at Laboni beach the awards were distributed where “Breathing is a Gift” wins the Best Bangladeshi Film Award. This film is based on the significance of memory and harsh reality that had its premiere at the 22nd Dhaka International Film Festival.
