Chelsea took the lead going into the break at the G-tech Community Stadium thanks to a powerful Nicolas Jackson header. As the first-half came to a close, boos could be heard from the home supporters, something that Frank could not comprehend. ‘They are crucial, they helped us so much today, just driving us on to go wave after wave. It wasn’t just the Brentford fans who jeered their own side however, with Chelsea’s away support telling Mauricio Pochettino to ‘f*** off’ throughout the match.
