There is a break from the rain at last as we have a few dry, bright days ahead with plenty of sunshine in the forecast. Temperatures are expected to be around the average for this time of year and Met Éireann has said there will be plenty of dry weather this week. “High pressure’s going to have more of an influence on our weather this week, with a lot of dry weather and some welcome spring sunshine around,” forecaster Liz Walsh said on Met Éireann’s morning forecast. Wednesday will be cloudy but mostly dry with just patches of drizzle, with some sunny spells also expected. Friday will bring “long spells of spring sunshine” and plenty of dry weather and temperatures will bounce back up to highs of 9 to 12C.
