Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid has said Bangladesh will no more hire knowledge and technology-based manpower from abroad, rather making a skilled workforce of its own. “Knowledge-based manpower is being created with the help of new technologies and research in each and every university of Bangladesh,” said Nahid. “If necessary, we will send knowledge-based skilled manpower abroad in the future.”Nahid mentioned that fundamental changes have been made in education system under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He called upon the university students, especially the students of agricultural universities, to build the ‘Sonar Bangla’ dreamt by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Earlier, Nahid inaugurated the newly constructed Tk20 crore dormitories for deans, professors, teachers and officials of the university.
