Dr Nabarro said the current situation is too uncertain for non-essential travel to once again be the norm. “But, this virus is not going away, we are in possibly the most dangerous period of this pandemic with variants and with huge deaths rate in the poorer world right now. “I don’t think it’ll be weeks I think it’ll be longer, but we could,” he said. “We don’t know whether we will and that’s the world we are living in at the moment." “It is incredibly uncertain, there are variants emerging and we do not know if there will be a variant that can beat the vaccines,” Dr Nabarro said.
