After initial reports that Mia Farrow’s son Thaddeus, 27, had been killed in a car accident on Wednesday, the Associated Press now confirms that his death has, in fact, been ruled a suicide. Thaddeus died from a life-threatening injury after he shot himself in the torso, according to Connecticut authorities. His cause of death was confirmed during an autopsy, while police have said there is no evidence of any criminal element. Farrow, 71, has since commented on her son’s death, via Twitter, writing, “We’re devastated by the loss of Thaddeus, our beloved son and brother. Thank you for the outpouring of condolences and words of kindness.”Farrow adopted Thaddeus from an Indian orphanage in 1994, several years after her divorce from former husband Woody Allen.
