MANILA, Philippines — A man was arrested after he allegedly turned “unruly” as he refused to undergo a checkpoint in Valenzuela City on Monday. Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas, director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), identified the man as Dionisito Sanchez Bonote. The man, however, “did not cooperate” and instead hurled expletives at the police officers stationed at the checkpoint, according to Sinas. Sinas earlier warned individuals who will be “unruly” at checkpoints, which were set up amid the community quarantine in Metro Manila to curb the spread of COVID-19, will be arrested by the police.
