Former petroleum minister is displeased over change in portfolio, according to sources‘Unhappy’ with the government’s decision of reshuffling the federal cabinet, Chaudhry Ghulam Sarwar on Friday reportedly refused to take over his new portfolio of aviation ministry after being removed as petroleum minister a day earlier. When Express News asked Sarwar about assuming the new ministry, the federal minister smirked, saying: “This question has no purpose.”According to sources, the former petroleum minister is displeased over the reshuffling of his portfolio. Sarwar on Friday went to his previous petroleum ministry and met all the staff including his secretary to say goodbye. Moreover, he also met Minister for Energy Omar Ayub Khan. Umar maintained that the prime minister had offered him the energy portfolio, but he chose to resign from the federal cabinet.
