Saying that “the battle over health care isn't over,” Sanders tried mightily to cast the failure as a mere setback. First, who is responsible — primarily responsible for what appears to be the failure of this health care legislation? That certainly won’t stop at this point of the process — not just on health care, but on a wide variety of issues. Will we see him take a more public role with rallies and speeches calling for health care legislation? It is essentially a dead program in terms of being able to provide the type of health care that Americans need and deserve.
