NBA teams that have shelter-in-place policies lifted in their locales are now allowed to re-open their practice facilities. Those who don’t will just have to wait and have their players just continue doing home exercises using hamster wheels. This only means that we’re definitely a step closer to the Association restarting its 74th season. There’s just not enough time anymore to finish the 15-18 games left in the regular season without sacrificing the playoffs. The Covid-19-induced playoff format that essentially have teams play in a bubble would also mean no more home-court advantage for top seeded teams.
