‘The Irish position has always been to resolve conflict’ – Taoiseach tells Trump in Oval Office meeting


The Vice President said last year his friend Colin had encouraged him to wear socks that would honour Mr Martin. In his speech, Mr Vance described Mr Collison as "one of the great entrepreneurs in the United States today". Mr Martin also gifted Mr Vance a special edition of Ulysses. Mr Martin gave a speech before a breakfast meeting with Mr Vance at his official residence in Washington DC. Following the meeting with Mr Vance, the Taoiseach will travel to the White House for a bilateral with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.
