Framing Spider-Man: Far From Home as a continuation of the storyline from Endgame is smart marketing, and elevates the sequel to must-see status. Meaning a $350 million opening for Far From Home wouldn't in fact really account for additional factors the sequel has in its favor. If Marvel does manage to top $1 billion with Spider-Man: Far From Home, they'll have three releases in 2019 that all surpassed the magic billion mark. Spider-Man: Far From Home is positioned for a grand global opening next week, and I expect it to easily top $350+ million and have a shot at $400 million territory if all of the stars align.
