‘Snakelet’ found in mid-day meal served at govt. school in Faridabad


more-inIn a shocking incident, a “snakelet” was found in the mid-day meal served to the students of the Government Girls’ Senior Secondary School in NIT-2, locally known as Town-2 in Faridabad on Thursday. Two teachers and six students, who complained of nausea after consuming the food, were treated at a hospital and discharged. A student spotted the “snakelet” in the meal around noon and alerted the teachers. Schools notifiedAfter the incident, all the schools across the district were directed not to serve meals. Speaking to The Hindu over phone, Mr. Srow said the teachers and the students were under observation.
