Actress Allison Mack pleaded guilty to racketeering charges Monday for what federal prosecutors said was her high-ranking role in an upstate New York cult-like group. Ms. Mack, best known for her role in the television series “Smallville,” entered her plea to racketeering and racketeering conspiracy hours before jury selection was set to begin in federal court in Brooklyn for the trial of several members of Nxivm, a purported self-help group based near Albany.
