Sherrie Redmon (48), who is disabled, spent five days trapped in her pickup truck until paramedics had to be called to remove her because “she was stuck to the seat” and covered in her own excrement. Michael Redmon (51) her husband, was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal abuse and is being held at Franklin county regional jail in Kentucky, US. She begged him to take her to hospital or let her out of the bakkie, but he allegedly ignored her, according to the police report. Five days later he drove her to hospital where paramedics were called to help get Sherrie out of the vehicle, as her skin was sticking to the seat. Sherrie is still in hospital and a court date hasn’t yet been set for her husband to appear.
