LALONDE : I knew Cheri as a passionate member of the legislature and my impression was the same on our date. LALONDE: Cheri has lived experiences that inform her views, and she is very vocal about urban issues. LALONDE: You know I don’t think Cheri and I were very far apart on many issues to begin with. Since I’m not from Toronto, I’m not as familiar with all the roads as I’m sure Cheri is. It was during my time on this date that I got to know Cheri much better and, I’m thankful for that.
