‘Setubandhan’ event being held at Agartala by Rotary clubs


A two-day international event titled ‘Setubandhan 2017’, organised by the rotary clubs of India and Bangladesh, is being held in Tripura. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar inaugurated the event on Friday at Agartala’s Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan. Altogether, 625 Rotarians from Bangladesh are taking part in this event, while around 200 Rotarians from Eastern Indian states like West Bengal, Assam and Tripura are participating. Bangladesh’s Railway Minister Mujibul Haque has also been invited to the event.
