Three men had broke into an LG showroom at Robi Tower in Gulshan-1 around 7am on Tuesday. Gulshan Inspector (Investigation) Salauddin Mia told the Dhaka Tribune: “We cordoned off the building as soon as we were informed that three people carrying backpacks entered an LG showroom in the building. “We are assuming that they might have been thieves,” said the inspector, adding that the intruders had cut the grills of a window and fled the scene without stealing anything.”“We are still inside the building. This might be a case of robbery,” said Salauddin. Wishing anonymity, an official of Rapid Action Battalion told the Dhaka Tribune: “We broke in around 11am and found no one inside the showroom except for two backpacks and 17 LG mobile phones in those.”
