House Republicans abandoned their “read the bill” ethos late Wednesday night — on the eight-year anniversary of the House passage of the ACA. “I never thought I would see the day when my party had a worse process than Obamacare did, but this was a worse process,” Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Tex.) said after the spending bill vote.
