TROPICAL Storm “Ramon” maintained its strength as it continued to move toward northern Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). As of 5 p.m. on Thursday, Pagasa located the center of the storm at 500 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora. Ramon is moving north-northwest at 15 kilometers per hour (kph) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph. Northeast monsoon would affect Northern and Central Luzon. Eastern Visayas, Aklan, Antique, Capuz, Occidental Mindoro and Palawan would experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
