more-inChief Minister Siddaramaiah sought to remind the probationary KAS and police officers of the State that a career in government was meant to serve the public and not merely a source of stable income. Interacting with the probationary KAS and police officers at the Karnataka Police Academy here on Thursday, Mr. Siddaramaiah said that public service should be the motto of both government officials and elected representatives. “There was inequality in society besides social stratification based on caste which has negatively impacted the growth prospects of individuals. In all, 194 KAS probationary officers and 36 probationary police officers were present who also fielded questions to the Chief Minister. KPA Director Vipul Kumar, ATI Director General Sandeep Dave, DG (Training) Prem Shankar Meena, Advisor to Home Minister Kempaiah, were among those present.
