Habang nae-entertain ang audience, may lessons silang napupulot at nae-enlighten sila sa tunay na traditions ng indigenous people’s groups. He discovers his own personal history, and the cultural and social values that he, despite growing abroad, inherently has in his blood. Based on the Focused Group Discussions facilitated by NCCA as theme basis and story development situated in different social environments and settings, the series focuses on the defined set of Filipino values. Among these are family orientation — which is foremost in the Filipino culture; joy and humor; flexibility, adaptability and creativity; faith and religiosity; survival skills; hardwork and industriousness; and hospitality. With six episodes already in the can, “Project Destination” is slated for a four-season showing that tackles the culture and traditions of indigenous peoples in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
