RANGPUR, Aug 19, 2023 (BSS)-It has become crucial to prepare textbooks for the medical and health education in Bengali along with conventional books in English to help our next generations to advance in medical sciences. Secretary of Bangla Academy Dr Md Hasan Kabir and Advisor of HRCR, Vice-principal of RpMC and Head of the Department of Medicine Professor Dr. Md. The chief guest said, "Our generation has to advance further in medical science. That is why it is necessary to prepare textbooks for medical science, practice and health education programs in Bengali in addition to English.”Bangla Academy is working on publishing simple and easily understandable publications based on English to Bengali translation. Professor Dr. Md Zakir Hossain said textbooks in medical science and health education programs in different countries with much lower population than in Bangladesh are published in their own languages.
