Panjab University Campus students’ council (PUCSC) supported the cause of Punjabi language raised by the students of the Punjabi department at Panjab University, Chandigarh. Also, they are in favour of having Punjabi on signboards on the campus. Students of the Punjabi department had written a letter to vice-chancellor Arun K Grover on October 11, asking him to bring back Punjabi on the signboards here. ‘Signboards should have all 3 languages’Jashan Kamboj, president, PUCSC, said, “Punjabi is our mother tongue and we believe in the issue raised by the students of the Punjabi department students. SFS supports studentsMembers of Students for Society (SFS) also joined the students of the Punjabi department on the issue.
