PETALING JAYA: "No one is above the law," says Pahang DAP secretary Lee Chin Chen after a party division chief was arrested for allegedly sending a threatening message to a senior police officer. Police arrested Jerantut DAP division chairman Loo Why Leong in Pahang for allegedly sending a threatening message via WhatsApp to Jerantut OCPD Supt Mazlan Hassan. It is believed that Loo, 53, had sent the threatening message due to his unhappiness over being arrested last Thursday (May 16). Lee said Loo had denied being involved in making the threats and as such Pahang DAP will leave to matter to the police to investigate. Meanwhile, Lee added that Pahang DAP had been trying to contact Loo since Sunday (May 19) and the state arm would be meeting soon to discuss the matter.
