As per the new government SOPs for dealing with the COVID-19, restaurants are not to accept patrons without masks till it is time to take off those masks to stuff food down their faces. “It is our duty to be responsible businesses during these times of pandemic,” said Sohail Bhatti of Bhatti Bites, a Lahore-based outlet. “My group and I wore our masks for a full twenty minutes,” he said. “Except Kami who had to wait outside because we were one mask short. So it goes away when food arrives if you’ve been wearing the mask earlier.”
