Speaking to the Sunday Independent last night, Mr Harris said: “The biggest risk for Ireland and for Europe is that we nearly pretend this week didn’t happen. It’s a somewhat calmer environment than it was a couple of days ago, but it is a stark reminder of how quickly things can go wrong.”
