Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton waves from the stage following the third and final US presidential debate with Republican nominee Donald Trump (background). Trump referred to Clinton as a 'nasty woman,' sparking lots of reaction on social media. But by then reams of social media users had taken to Twitter, most of them siding with Clinton. Trump also described criminals of Latino descent as “bad hombres” and called Clinton a “nasty woman,” spawning jokes, outrage and even T-shirt designs online. Trump didn’t mention the remarks on social media afterwards, but his supporters didn’t appear to take issue with them.
