MANILA, Philippines — Makati City Mayor Abby Binay has found herself on the receiving end of offensive and insulting remarks, one of which she bared on her Facebook account. Binay shared Tuesday night screenshots of a private message she received from a Facebook user who gave her the N-word apparently for not suspending classes in Makati following the eruption of Taal Volcano. “Binay a** n*gga…F*ck n*gga…Almost everyone else suspended,” the Facebook user added. This is a just one of several private messages I receive on a daily basis. Kids these days don’t have the same respect for authority (and) elders,” the netizen commented.
