ARAVINTHANA CHINESE school headmistress allegedly threatened a Year Five pupil after the girl’s parents reportedly meddled in school affairs, Sin Chew Daily reported. The headmistress from the school in Lenggong, Perak, purportedly told the pupil that her mother, who is of Thai descent, would be sent back to Thailand if her parents continued to interfere. The father, Xie Bing Jie, said his daughter was afraid to go to school after the threat. When contacted, the headmistress denied the allegation, explaining that she merely told the girl politely to tell her parents not to meddle in school affairs. The siblings will be back with their mother, Yanti Then, who has forgiven her husband, See Wah Seng.
