By PHILIP ONYANGO More by this AuthorKenya will be back in continental basketball action in October following the announcement of fresh dates for the Afro-basket qualifiers. With the season shelved in March due to fears over the spreading coronavirus, action now resumes in October, at least on the continental front. But Kenya’s men’s and women’s teams will be in action in November when they feature in the Afro-basket qualifiers whose venues and exact dates will be announced later. Accordingly, the KBF has also asked the men’s national team, the “Morans” to be ready to resume training ahead of the qualifiers where they will be expected to battle it out with Mozambique, Senegal and Angola. KBF treasurer Peter Orero, however, said the federation will name a new-look women’s national team for the Afro-basket qualifiers.
