‘May be dog’s time to go’: SkyTrain staffer purposely didn’t brake for pet on tracks, distraught owners told

Witnesses have told the Fluevog family a version of how Maggie died that differs substantially from what TransLink officials told the family. So Fluevog said she was stunned Tuesday morning when she saw news reports that a SkyTrain worker had come forward with a substantially different story. SkyTrain police did nothing, SkyTrain employees just chased from Joyce to Nanaimo and back. They did not go on the tracks, so when it hid they didn’t see it from the platform and they resumed service. TransLink officials said is making counselling available to the employees who tried to coax the dog off the tracks.
