Several top curlers have started talks with Curling Canada to address concerns about the difference between men’s and women’s payouts at the national championships. Kevin Koe’s Alberta team earned $70,000 for winning the men’s title last Sunday, while Chelsea Carey’s Alberta team earned $32,000 for taking the women’s crown last month. on Sunday, is confident Curling Canada will even up the prize money for the champions and runners-up at Canada’s curling championships.
