The 2009 league champions Sofapaka, who have been relegated, camped at the High Court all day on Friday and got a court injunction stopping the start of the new season. “We have been served but I hereby confirm that all league matches scheduled for this weekend are on. It doesn’t say that the league matches be halted so until we get that clarification, we shall goon with everything as planned,” he said. They then went ahead and obtained orders from the High Court stopping the league from kicking off until their case is heard and determined by the Sports Disputes Tribunal.
