KOTOR BioWareThe industry is buzzing this morning about a new rumor from Cinelinx, a movies, gaming, geek culture site that claims that EA is considering a Knights of the Old Republic remake or spiritual sequel, depending on how the reports are parsed. One source says that this is just a flat remake of the games. Another says it’s more of a sequel that uses elements from the last two games to bring some of the old characters and concepts into the new-era Disney Star Wars canon. And it’s clear from Revan to Thrawn that they don’t want to discard all the old Expanded Universe hits from past decades. That leaves I guess…DICE, or one of those teams that was working on the few different Star Wars games that were cancelled in the last year or two?
