‘Iti, Tomari Dhaka’ bags award at Kazan International Muslim Film Festival

Ahmed Muztaba Zamal, festival director of the Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) received the award on behalf of the film’s cast and crew. Directed and written by Rahat Rahman, “Iti Tomari Dhaka” premiered at the 23rd Busan Film Festival (BIFF) in October 2018. The film also participated in the ninth edition of India’s Kolhapur International Film Festival organized by the Kalamaharshi Baburao Painter Film Society. Kyrgyzstan film “Song of the Tree” won the Grand Pix award at the festival; while Turkish director Semih Kaplanoglu won the Best Director award for his film, “Grain.”
