There was cause for celebration in the Blue Jays’ clubhouse on Friday night for reasons that went well beyond an important 10-2 victory over the Texas Rangers. Prior to taking the field for the lopsided win, the Jays were informed they’d received a national interest exemption from the federal government for cross-border travel. “I was really happy,” Jays manager Charlie Montoyo said. It was great news.”The Jays haven’t hosted a game at the Rogers Centre since Sept. 27, 2019. We’re looking forward to that.”For the Jays this marks the third move of the season.
