Asserting that the Indian economy is showing signs of revival since the second covid wave peaked in May, the government on Monday said the country’s strong fundamentals and market size will continue to attract market-seeking greenfield investments. “As has been witnessed in overall FDI inflows, India’s strong fundamentals and market size will continue to attract market-seeking greenfield investments," she said. India is expected to grow at a significantly faster rate compared with the global average growth. The government of India on 28 June announced a stimulus package of ₹6,28,993 crore, the finance minister said in another reply. The finance minister further said the CPI-Combined inflation in June 2021 was 6.26%, as against the average CPI-Combined inflation of 6.16% during 2020-21.
